I used these to replace a missing rear hood latch on the motorhome. Working well so far, but as others have mentioned any key will unlock the latch so not very secure. In our use the original latches didn't lock at all so the key locking is a bonus. I painted ours to match the hood paint color.

These will fit. They will latch. They are not sealed. The locks do lock, but you can just press hard enough on latches and they will pop open. So do not trust them to be that secure...because they are not. I bought 4 of them and all the locks had that design flaw in them. The tolerances are just not tight enough and the play lets them open. These are good if you are in a budget and need to get a replacement and do not want to shell out $30 for the real deal. But if you can afford it, get the real Southco latches, they really are worth the investment.
