I've used flimsy wire dicers before but I've never seen one with welded grids, so when I found this for a reasonable price I jumped at it.I needed something to help me quickly dice up pate food for my kittens, who still need small bites. The smaller cutter is perfect; even pieces, cuts through soft food without mushing it or distorting the cutter, and as a bonus, it fits almost perfectly over the containers I use for their food so there's not much mess transferring the pieces to the containers.I haven't used the larger cutter yet but I expect similar quality from that one.The only improvement I would make is the outer edges; they're a little sharp.

I started off looking for your basic slicer with the rows of parallel wires in a hinged frame. I really only use it to make egg salad so would slice one way, then rotate and go again before a final chop. But I was intrigued by this design so I had to try it out. Still some experimenting to do to try and remove the knife from the equation, but this does both the other steps in one move and I love it.I do feel sorry for the guy below (or above) who was trying to use it on potatoes. Yikes!

Chops eggs like a pro. It's extremely sharp though. (wow, that's poetic, let me continue then).Be very careful when you clean,Don't catch your fingers in between.Your eggs do really come out nice,And all for a very nice price!

used total of three times. they worked great, until i realized THEY RUSTED. sadly the third use was when i noticed there was rust and that the metal was PAINTED. and rust was all around where the wires wrapped around the ring. i immediately threw them in the trash. along with the food i had made because it had come in contact with the rusted areas. what a waist.

The size is perfect to set on top of a coffee mug or several standard glasses to collect the food after slicing. I’ve already thrown them in the dishwasher a few times and they are still doing great as well!

Every time I make an egg salad now, I can’t do it without this egg cutter.The egg slicer does a great job with a boiled egg, the strings cut both the yolk and protein just fine. it takes max 10 sec!Perfectly copes with boiled eggs, potatoes and carrots!Very easy to clean under running water or in the dishwasher.I definitely recommend these small but very useful egg slicers!

Cool egg slicer! Salads only with it now. The mesh is stretched well, the edges of the egg cutter are not sharp. I searched for a long time. We bought it to replace the old one, which served for about 5 years. Boiled eggs, boiled vegetables, sausage - everything is fast and equally even ... I recommend it !! There are two pieces of mesh 0.2 and 0.3 inches available. The strings are good and fixed by soldering. I’ve been using it for about 2 months, no problems.

not happy really. I got these because I wanted the different size options but I got 2 identical (larger) ones. they feel cheap & sharp. so no, not happy with this purchase.

The wires are too flimsy, like they could be better stretched within the round rim. Still does the job for the most part.
