As others have mentioned, these things are tight! But if you work the elastic cord around the rungs of your vent tubing eventually you'll get there. It's not easy to put on but as you can see with my final pictures it is doable. This is on a 6" intake tube. I like them.Update: After less than two weeks I've had to vacuum the dust off of these meshes because they do their job so well! I'm very impressed! This does exactly what you need it to do.

Had an issue with the first set of filters not fitting properly, customer service contacted me via email and are sending a larger set for a better fit.Very happy with service so far, will update when larger filter arrive and fit properly.

These work great, really, no complaints on function. I cut up old t-shirts to use as pre-filters on my tents air system, and these make it much easier to keep them in place and swap them out once they're dirtyThe issue I have is these are quite literally 4 inches. Meaning you have absolutely no slack to work with when installing them, so it will take a little patience to get them on fully. The tightening string is not even necessary with a fit this snug.Otherwise, perfect for my needs!

The vent covers look nice - but I ordered a 6†version and it was extremely tight and difficult to slip onto the 6†duct opening. I was able to squeeze it on after a good deal of gently squeezing the ducts and pulling the edges of the cover over it. But was not easy to install.

This item is exactly the same size as the 6 inch duct And won’t fit over the ducks because it’s exactly the same size. It has a elastic drawstring but if you tightened it at all, it won’t fit over the 6 inch duct!
