As we know strings and your fretboard can get very dirty, embarrassingly dirty in fact! Most of the time actually cleaning your fretboard requires removing the strings, while cleaning your strings remains very tricky indeed. That's where this string cleaning gadget come in handy. Just slide it under the strings, close it, and push it down the fretboard. It will clean your strings and fretboard at the same time.
The guitar string cleaner with double sided lint-free felt cloth, which won't scratch the surface of your precious instrument. It extends the life of strings cleaning all around the strings including underneath as well as frets and board preserving original string tone.

Note:
the cleaner isn't a dedicated fretboard cleaner. It's designed to clean the fretboard a bit while cleaning the strings, and will help the stop the "gunk"build up if used after playing. However if you want to remove dirt which has built up over a long period of time, then you'll need to use a special cleaning liquid.

It works! You open it, put the bottom under the strings, and make sure to even it out of the pad. Close it, and just glide.......I also bought a string oil cleaner, all I did was pour oil on the bottom of the pad evenly to where all strings will be oiled. Perfect pair. Will buy again, if needed (this comes in 2 pairs), and will recommend.

The included fabric is not the most absorbent. Just keep in mind it takes a bit for this fabric to absorb liquid. It got the job done though.

Yes, I’m lazy. These make string care super easy. Full 360 cleaning with a single pass. The extra pad on the bottom that cleans the frets/fret board and is a nifty little extra. I use Dunlop string conditioner every week or so and finish the job with this little wonder. Super simple, I keep one with each guitar. Highly recommend.

Been playing acoustic for 40 years. Nobody wants to admit that even with clean hands, you leave dead skin on your strings as you play. Yuck! Clean your strings and fretboard! These things make it easy. I always have a couple handy.

I used this on multiple guitars and got rid of a decent amount of dirt and rust. It also has a pad on the bottom for one sided cleaning. Pretty useful!

Have to admit, I only used this a few times. I just don't clean my strings that often, but especially the first time you use this, you'll see the grime pulled off the strings. Simple and useful device.

Electric guitar strings get grimey, gritty, dirty, maybe even rusty. That's what happens to metal strings in contact with oily hands (yes, even after a good hand-wash). These flip-flop sponge-like contraptions, make SHORT WORK of those dirty strings in a couple of "sweeps". Add a drop or two of the Dunlop Lemon Oil, and you have the ultimate "weapon" of choice to restore crispy newness to those strings and your fretboard. Literally, brings them back to life! The softness is about right for Electric Guitars. Might be too gentle for big thick bass strings though. Every Guitar player, that very regularly plays, needs to get these.
