They say this is for beer transfer, so I thought I'd give it a try. My bench test showed it will move 12ox of water in about 20 seconds. This correlates to moving a gallon of beer in about 3.5 minutes, or 5 gallons in a bit under 18 minutes. It's on the slow side, compared to just opening the valve at the bottom of the bucket. But I see the advantage of using it with beers that have a lot of particulates floating around, or if the stuff in the bottom gets stirred up. The filter is kind of a fine mesh, so it will keep out anything just about anything except the smallest particulates.

The pumps themselves have a fairly crude construction, and I wouldn't trust one to run for more than 10 minutes continuously. As promised on the product page, the system runs very quietly when moving fluid (not including air), and it does not leak. The included hoses are strong and flexible, and thankfully do not have the offensive odor associated with low-quality plastics. While the pumps definitely don't struggle with water, I would be skeptical about using them to move something more viscous
