This is a very small, USB-powered transfer pump for transferring liquids. Presumably the main use is primarily for transferring beer/wine/etc for homebrewing and similar hobbies, as it claims to be food grade and comes with a small particulates filter. It's difficult to verify that the parts are all food grade, but they seem to be reasonably quality plastics and I don't see any reason to doubt. My main use for this has been transferring (cool) wort for homebrew beer into a fermenter, and other miscellaneous tasks transferring liquids while brewing. For that it works surprisingly well, and the filter basket does a good job avoiding picking up any particulates that might clog things up. Flow rate is reasonable, I didn't measure it exactly but it's perfectly reasonable and only takes a few minutes to transfer a full batch of beer (~5 gallons). It's also nice that it's self-priming, as many more powerful homebrewing pumps are not.My only complaints are fairly minor. The ergonomics of using the pump could be better, as it's not exactly a particularly useful shape or size to hold in the hand and there is not an easy way to mount it, either. Would be nice if the USB cable was a bit longer, as well. Lastly, the build quality is actually better than expected, but it's hard to say if this would hold up to any long term/heavy use and I have my doubts. For the dirt cheap price I think the flaws are entirely forgivable, and overall I rather like this. I have other, more serious pumps for brewing, but this one will still probably see regular use due to its simplicity/portability and the fact that its self-priming. So yeah, it's pretty good.

I've been brewing my own wine for close to a year. And the people on YouTube who have taught me this fun hobby ALL use a siphon that needs pumped to start the flow. But now that I've found this auto-siphon, I put one end into the fermenter, and the other end into my bottle and hit the switch, and wine starts pumping out, while filtering out all kinds of fruits, spices, and other chunks. It does not filter out the dust-like sediment at the bottom though. Going from a self-siphon tube to an auto-siphon pump is a game changer. Highly recommended!

LIKES: Makes transfers very easy, tube length is very generous (easy for 6 gallon carboy), comfortable transfer speed, easy on/off. DISLIKES: must provide own adapter for wall plug, only one size filter (would be nice to have different sizes for each phase of filtering). HOW USING: I am using this to do 1st and 2nd racking when making wine. I can see this being used for first transfer of beer also. RECOMMENDATION: Yes. If you accept the product's limitations it is actually really nice to have because I can filter at eye level rather than having to put the receiving vessel on the floor. I look forward to performing quicker and easier 1st and 2nd rackings for all of my wines. I still prefer to do the last filtering with a finer mesh filter, but this one is a great tool for the beginning phases.

I really wanted to like this, but the tubing is so cheap! I don't feel like it's food grade, and the cord on it is so short you have to be right next to the outlet, which is just inconvenient.I'll be sticking to my manual auto siphon.

It works like it was advertised to. Ive used it twice so far and its worked fine. It makes noise but its not too loud. You have to kinda work with it to start siphoning but once it starts it is a steady stream. It almost seems like its homemade. Its not a bad thing its just an observation. The only thing I wish was different was if it was bigger it would be perfect. Its a little small for my taste. But overall good product.

It works OK. it definitely has to be lower than the full bottle to work, and there are some issues with keeping the hose straight so that it doesn't kink up. But all in all, it works.
