The wall the bathroom door opens into is a custom mirror. Floors and walls are tile. Not wanting to drill hole into anything I figured this would work perfectly. It seems to be stuck to the floor pretty good. Time will tell.Disclaimer: I have no small children and the bathroom where I placed the stopper is off a guest bedroom. The stopper will more than likely “Never†be put to a real test to find out if it will hold should someone swing the door open aggressively.

I’m used to screwing a doorstop in, so I was a little nervous about an adhesive version. These are solid metal and a thicker adhesive pad on the bottom. The backing was a bit tricky to remove. By not have a screw, I had to give myself more time to assure alignment (I recommend some painter’s tape over one end of it to reference the alignment, then remove the backing). This adhesive needs some pressure to work, which makes it initially forgiving, but I had to step on it and stay there for 10-15 seconds to make it stay put. Since then, it had been working well. It is not especially tall, so this may be a poor choice if your door has more clearance from the floor. Had the backing been easier to remove, I would have given it five stars.

Be sure to check space between floor and bottom of door you intend to use these on. These did not work for any of my exterior doors because they pass right over.

The quality of this door stop is both attractive and protects my wooden shoe rack directly behind the door. I especially love the heavy duty 3M adhesive that allows me to stick to my ceramic tile floor without damaging the floor. Also great value for 2 stoppers.

I really like the look of these. I have the gold, but there are several colors to choose. They adhere to the floor with a very strong adhesive. No tools required. Just peel and stick. Won't work on a carpeted floor. Make note of the height. It's just over an inch. Not quite high enough for my front door. The surface looks good, but there are some imperfections if you look closely.
