The product does not fit my 1987 glorious vertical blinds. The area that slides over the metal rod is too small.

I bought this to replace a broken vertical headrail wand control. The original is in the first picture on the bottom. The only problem with this is the shaft that screws into the rotating vertical vane part is about 1/2" longer than the original . This means that the vane will not fit tightly against the window frame, leaving light in. I could saw the part off, but was afraid I would break it if I did. I would give it 5 stars for price, fit, direct replacement except for the part that is longer than original. I can't fault this product. After I got this one, I went back to amazon to see if there was a shorter one, but I couldn't find one. I am pretty sure if you vertical headrail is newer than min, this part would be just fine. Just take your headrail apart first to see if your wand control is the same size as this.

This fits, but the star shaft down the middle is too tight to slide with the wand. I can slide it with my fingers. If it was a few thousandths larger it would work.
