I don't particularly like the design but for the price these are good. They protect her elbow, they are a tad uncomfortable but you only wear it for a short time. The strap is a little long but again, for the price I'm not complaining just informing.

The “2 Pcs Yuyongshuai Baseball Softball Elbow Guard, Softball Elbow Shield for Batting, Elbow Pad Forearm Guard†is bigger than my wife needed. I should have ordered a small one. If this is a medium, I would hate to see what a large would look like. It might be suitable for a male bodybuilder.

These elbow guards are comfortable to wear (small size still runs a little big if you have a really skinny kid though... it's really more of an adult small I think... the sizing guide in the product description seems pretty right on to me at least for the small size) and provide decent protection of the back side of the elbow (towards the tricep area where a wild pitch would be most likely to hit on the arm).Even though there are other elbow guards with more coverage that strap onto both the bicep and forearm parts of the arm for serious protection from fast pitchers, I ordered this 2 pack for a 12 year old kids' softball team I coach because they'll be easier to take on and off in a hurry and the 2 pack allows the next girl in the batting order to be putting it on while another girl is up to the plate.It doesn't seem to impede the swing at all, but provides the most sensitive area of the arm with some protection if the opposing pitcher is a little bit wild, and will help give your team some confidence batting--especially if they're newer players. Solid 5 stars for the price.

Rather than playing ball, I got these to see if they'd work as elbow protection for riding my scooter. They do! Other than being a bit stiff when I bend my arm, they protect well and fit my arms without sliding off. Good value.
