I love these, especially since they're machine washable. I've always hated the disposable options (especially plastic wrap!) for covering bowls in the refrigerator or while doing prep work. In the past few years, our options have greatly expanded, to include silicone tops, fitted covers for specific bowls, and bonnets like these. It has been fantastic to avail myself of all the options for different purposes, but the bonnets I've been using as like those old disposable plastic rain hats - good for a few uses, then they go in the trash. These fabric bonnets are so much better! And this large size means the work for almost all of my bowls. I definitely recommend these.

These are great covers for your bowls, they come in two sizes, but I've used them on smaller ones, you just scoot the fabric down toward the bottom more. These come in super handy for prepping, I can clean and prep salad greens at lunch time for dinner, stick one of these over the bowl, and my greens don't turn brown or start wilting. Great to just pop over bowls that go into the fridge until dinner, I have already picked up a second set of these and gotten some smaller ones. I can just toss them in the dishwasher or washer (use a mesh bag in the washer), and then let them air dry. No more messing with plastic wrap, so much less waste, and I'm really pleased with these.

My husband's hobby, is baking various breads and rolls. He was tired of fighting with the plastic wrap that he was using to cover up the bread bowls while the dough was rising. I found these and he agreed to try them. He loves them! And he wants more of them. That's how well they work. Being plastic, they really keep the warmth in the bowl, allowing the dough to rise faster and higher than with the wrap. The dough doesn't stick to them and they wash easily with soap and water. He's already told me that he "needs" a couple more of them, so these are a very good find.

I really like these bowl covers. Not only do they look nice, but they work well too. My Husband loves to make his own pizza. He buys the ready to make dough and lets it rise before making the pizza. He has struggled with what to cover the dough with as it is rising. We don’t like to use plastic wrap as it is a one-time use item and has must to go in the trash afterwards. The dough can stick to a fabric towel making it messy and needs to be laundered afterwards. These bowl covers are well made of fabric lined with a non-stick finish and elastic edges. When proofing dough the instructions suggest sprinkling a little water inside first and this worked great, the dough didn’t stick. They are easy to handwash and hang to dry. You may be able to wash them in the washing machine and hang to dry, but I prefer to hand wash them. The set of two colorful and decorative bowl covers are not just for proofing dough, they can be used to cover all sorts of things. The elasticized covers are easy to put on bowls from 8 to 12 inches across and they stay on well. I will find a lot of uses for these pretty and versatile bowl covers. In my opinion they are a quality product and well priced.

The best sourdough batards and boules have spent 12+ hours in the frig to develop flavor. While some bakers say you don't need to cover the dough, I have found it develops too thick of a 'skin' if it's uncovered.I use cotton covers, but they do allow air to pass in and out and there is a skin. These covers are almost similar to a shower cap in that they are fabric on the outside but a soft plastic type material lining the fabric. This should keep the dough nicely. They stretch well and easily cover the batard proofing baskets and would also fit over a round boule, 9-10". When you mix up a prefirment the night before, if you don't cover it, the following morning, you will find a dried skin on the top. These nice covers would prevent that, although I don't believe they are big enough for my large two-loaf mixing bowl. They will work just fine for my proofing baskets and I do recommend them.

These bowl covers are a very practical solution for various things like keeping dishes covered to keep in heat or cold and to keep insects out.I use them mainly for bread making because they 'breathe' but I've found them useful for keeping dishes protected when we eat outdoors (or even indoors). They are good looking and I like that I can wash them and reuse them so it's good for us and for the environment.Less waste is better.Good quality and economically beneficial.I would recommend these to others!

I really do like these bowl covers! They are easy to use and are ideal when you want to cover a bowl quickly. I think they would be wonderful for outdoor barbecues/meals when you need a little protection from the bugs. The set I ordered are for 8-12 inch bowls. I tried them on a variety of sizes and obviously the smaller the bowl the looser the fit. However, for protection purposes, they worked great. So much easier to use than plastic wrap! However, I could see the value of using them along with plastic wrap to hold the wrap in place and add just a little more protection. These will work great for bread making, dough rising needs. These are not designed to protect items that need to be stored in air tight containers. However, they really work well for coverage and protection from pests. They will help hold in heat a little longer and perhaps keep things cold a little longer as well. I am really pleased with these and now want to order more sizes!
