This is basic violin/cello tape for marking positions. It’s easy to install and sticks well.Some people have complained that they only got one roll instead of two. It did look like only one roll when I opened the box, but what actually happened was the two rolls were stuck together. You just have to pull them apart, which is not hard.

The layers of tape stick together and are difficult to separate. I ended up chucking both rolls and using scotch tape 😩

This is probably one of my best purchases for my violin. I decided to swap out my colored tapes for black so i could memorize the positions, especially 5th. I cut them high so they wouldn’t show. You can see them in light. It’s not that noticeable when held, which i like! I like the extra support this comes to offer with tapes, and im super happy. It looks like it comes with 1 roll. You must take it out because the 2 roles are sticked together. Love this so much! It doesn’t affect performance. It took me some time to put it on, but it was worth it. The quality is amazing, and the color is just as it was said.

This was perfect for my violin. The pieces cut very easily, and the adhesive is very flexible. It sticks when you apply enough pressure to put it in a final position, but was not so sticky when trying to find the correct placement on the neck.I am a beginner who is much more experienced on guitar, so this is exactly what I needed to help my muscle memory and look at the neck as "frets", which is much more comfortable to me.It doesn't change any of the sound on the violin, and once pressed into place it doesn't move anymore, so don't worry about losing the placement once you put the violin away.The dark color blends in with the black neck very well to keep a consistent look, but has enough sheen to be able to see (and feel) the tape when you're looking at the neck.

This stuff is crap. I bought it because I wanted black tape that doesn't look overly colorful on my violin, but I would have been better off cutting small straps of electrical tape instead of this garbãge.This "tape" and I'm using that word very loosely-because tape implies that it sticks-does not do the job. It is so flimsy and thin, you can barely work with it without tweezers. Also, like I said, it doesn't stick...maybe if you took the strings off your violin and wrapped the whole roll around the neck, some of it might stay.Also, it smells like something that would give you cancer. Real stanky, dog. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.

Great slim stickers. Wont spoil the look of your fingerboard. Not noticeable but yet can see them when u playing!
