I got these to reach seed and hummingbird feeders to refill them without using a ladder. The sections of the pole have (about) 1/2 turn, friction locks so it's easy extend them out to the desired length. I like that the kit comes with 2 poles and hardware to use with them for attic doors - although I'm not using the poles for attic doors. They're just as described and work pretty well for what I'm doing and would be just perfect for reaching pull-down attic doors.

Broke the first time we tried using it. Waste of money.

Gets rid of the dangling rope issue for attic access. Only issue is the screws are short and the hoop seems to be fragile.

This was a nice way to make an attic pull down look much better. It replaces the cheap pull cord that comes with the pull down stairs and allows you to forget about it by eliminating rope hanging in your face when you walk by. Ordered this for a home build and am ordering more for the next homes.

I liked the idea of nothing hanging from the ceiling for my attic access, so I bought this. The screw for attaching the pull ring was too short. So I had to find another. Later - third pull on the ring - the ring just popped off. The screw remained fastened- the ring popped off the base. Good concept. Poor design; poor construction. I suggest avoiding this product.

I installed this and the first time I tried to pull the steps down the ring broke.

The Yaocom Ladder Pull System Kit (I received the 2-pack version) comes with everything you need to get rid of that annoying string hanging from your attic ladder. The poles telescope from 29" to 58" and have "twist to lock" system. They are thin metal, but I think they should work just fine. The pulls that you attach to ladder panel are made from an unidentifiable light weight material (likely plastic). While the mounting screw is long enough, you'll want to add a washer to give it more support on the back side. True fully you'll probably want to find a better loop pull. I don't expect these to last long.

The hook provided is very flimsy and is not strong enough to overcome the spring-loaded mechanism of any modern ceiling-mounted attic door. The provided hardware is also too small and insufficient to attach through the frame and plywood of the door.
