WOW, WHERE WERE THESE WHEN I FIRST STARTED INSTALLING LONG LED STRIP LIGHTS!!!? I HAD BEEN USING THE PINCH DOWN TYPE CONNECTORS FOR ALL OF MY PREVIOUS LIGHT STRIP INSTALLS IN THE PAST. I WAS LEFT WITH A MESS OF LOOSE CONNECTION POINTS THAT WERE HARD TO FIX . i CAME BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD TO SEE IF i COULD FIND A BETTER PRODUCT THAT COULD SOLVE THE 2 MAJOR PROBLEM i HAD WHILE INSTALLING LIGHT RUNS, THOSE WERE BAD CONNECTIONS AND DIFFICULTY REPAIRING THOSE POINTS. WELL, I LEARNED MY LESSON...WITH THESE, IT MAY TAKE A FEW SECONDS MORE TO USE THE TINY SCREW DRIVER TO MAKE THE CONNECTIONS BUT AFTER A VERY LONG RUN WITH AT LEAST A DOZZEN BREAKS, I HAD NO CORRECTION DELAYS BECAUSE EVERY CONNECTION POINT WAS CLEAN AND SECURE. IN FACT, I HAD A SECTION WHERE THE TAPE ALONG THE STRIP HAD LOST ITS HOLD AND ALL THE WEIGHT OF THAT 25 FOOT RUN HAD FALLEN ONTO THAT LAST SPLICE, AND THERE IT WAS...HANGING FROM THAT LITTLE CONNECTOR, HELD SO SECURE THAT I BET I WOULD TEAR THE STRIP ITSELF BEFORE IT COMMING LOOSE FROM THESE BAD BOYS!

Easy enough to use, but since these connectors are over 1/4" high, they don't fit inside a 1/4" deep aluminum strip light channel.

Pretty good connectors I did have to cut slits on both sides to get the LED strip to fit but that wasn't a hard thing to do at all.

I'm building a custom backlit frame and experimented with two other types of LED connectors before finding these. The others seemed kind of flimsy, like they might not hold up over time and the connections were finicky whereas these made strong connections that I could not pull apart with reasonable force.I like that These give me the option of using my own wiring as well. I use 18 gage wire instead of the thinner stuff the other connectors came with and measured somewhat less voltage drop along the series. Not sure if this lower voltage drop came from the wire diameter or the connections but in my application, these are affordable enough that I'm to throw these in before I get to the kitchen sink

Durable construction and so easy to use. I put 3M double sided tape on the back of mine to fasten to the undershot my cabinets.
