In our recent move, the pins for the shelves in a storage cabinet fell out and were lost. The holes aren’t the “standard†size we found at hardware stores, so we searched on Amazon and found these. They fit perfectly and are sturdy to hold up the shelves that are used regularly.

The price was right and I did end up using them, but felt mislead. The advertised picture shows the pin embedded 1/2 way into the plastic, though the support pins I received are embedded much less. Which means there is much less, or perhaps no metal directly under the shelf. I chose these pins because they seemed stronger compared to other choices; they are not.They were purchased to replace 4 missing shelf supports on a quality Danish sideboard. The original pins; for which I have 12 (and needed 16) are of much better quality, and embed more than 1/2 way into the plastic, have a nicer polish and clearer plastic. That is what I was trying to match, and what seemed to be pictured in the ad for what I ordered from "ndnkjm" thru Amazon.Although these pins will work for now, fit the holes and support a shelf; they are not what I expected, so I can't justify giving a 5 star review. I struggled to even give them a 3.

They looked like high quality items but they simply didn't fit the pre-made holes I was going to use them for. Had to return them. Next time I will actually measure before I buy.

I recently was moving cheap Ikea shelves around, and broke a few of the plastic supports. These are much nicer, sturdier and fit Ikea shelves perfectly.

Purchased these as I wanted to add some shelves in my kitchen cabinets. Size worked well and the clear finish means they did not stand out compared to the existing shelf pins.My only "complaint" is that I wish there was a bit more extension to them -- meaning that they'd have more surface area for the shelf to sit on. These are relatively shallow so there's not a lot to work with if your shelf is cut short at all.

They work... there's not much to say. They're good, the 5mm fit is good, they do their job holding up a shelf. It would be surprising if they didn't.
