Using them to hold sewing patterns. If they had 3 holes on side to put in binders, I’d give it a 5. They fit in magazine holders though.

They are inexpensive enough to have an envelope for each different package of die cuts.

I had purchased these a few months back and really liked them. They are perfect for storing patterns. I made a recent purchase again and was sent the wrong item. It was a similar plastic folder but the plastic was cheap and flimsy. It was also smaller than the original folders.

These would be wonderful for organizing important paperwork into envelopes. For me, as a quilter, I'm using these to organize quilt projects, or more specifically parts of quilt projects. I tend to cut to size all the pieces I need to make a quilt, whether a wall hanging or a king size quilt. That means I must have a place to put all those 100's of pieces organized in a way that makes it easy to complete each block. Most times I have at least 2 different blocks alternating within the quilt. These envelopes are a great way to keep a project well organized and ready to work on quickly. If it's not organized properly and I put the project aside for several months, I have to spend a whole lot of time studying what I had been doing and how the pieces go together. Being inspired to work on a project is key to getting it finished and having units of the quilt organized well and visible through these envelopes is key to keeping that inspiration alive.
