So much easier than cement. When I first started putting the posts in I was putting in a little too much and too low in the hole. I thought I was going to run out and bought another set, but didn't need it once I started using it in the right position in the right amount. This box did about 20 posts just like it says. Just don't make your holes too big around, and I ended up filling the hole about a third with dirt at the bottom because I wanted the foam at the top where it would make the post more rigid instead of at the bottom.

Be ready to use more than anticipated. Not a fault of the product, just because the holes may need to be adjusted or are wider/deeper than you think. The measurements on the product directions seem about right. We ran out of this product and had a single bag of the Sika from Home Depot, so we figured why not use it. That stuff is garbage compared to the Secure Set. First, the bag wouldn't break, so we cut and mixed the two chemicals by hand. The Sika did not stick to the powder-coated metal post; it seemed to actually push away from it. I was stuck holding the post, because it never firmed up to stand on its own. It wasn't until we poured Secure Set on top of the Sika, when the post actually became secure. That's the other thing worth mentioning; you have *much* more control of the portions of the Secure Set. Topping off a hole is WAY easier than having to mix an entire bag of Sika. Also, the Secure Set foam seems more rigid, too. This product is pretty great! I will use this over Sika and Quikcrete every time.

Due to guidelines, there is some information I had to omit from this review. But will say that the 'overall' experience was Awesome and the product arrived promptly as this is a Prime item in more ways than one. Now, if it weren't for the many river rocks found in the ground, causing me to take much more time to hand dig the post holes, as the power auger wouldn't get past the rocks, this job would've been done within two days tops as Secure Set sets up very quickly, allowing you to actually build on to the posts within an hour or two as advertised. It's been since the Sunday of Labor Day 2016, and the fence is doing great. No leaning, no signs of weakness, and looks great for such a quickly completed project from a DIY'er that didn't want to shell out a couple extra thousand to pay for labor costs. Secure Set made this job a breeze and I will never attempt to install a fence of any kind. While I didn't use wooden posts (IE: Pressure treated 4x4), the metal posts I used are doing very well with this product. I originally bought the metal posts (Master Helco's from Home Depot) because the newer Pressure treated wood rots out quickly when set in concrete. I still wanted to use the metal posts due to design to speed up the process of attaching rails and longevity of the fence, but this product would be awesome for wood posts as it doesn't have the lime like concrete that rots out pressure treated wood.I don't have anything negative to say about this product and would highly recommend it. It's very simple to use. And if you can have 2, maybe 3 posts at a time ready to set, you can to all 3 with one single 64oz Sports Drink Bottle. While it does come with a mixer, I chose to use the bottles in which I was able to shake the two parts together, and pour into the holes very easily. I did two posts at a time with the same bottle, but if you are fast, you can get 3 posts per bottle before it sets too much in the bottle to use again. This helps eliminate cleaning the mixer every time. So, get your Sports Drinks on, and save your bottles if you want to make this an even easier, less clean up, job.Not only is this a great product (and a back saver), but the service was out of this world! Great Job! Great Product!

Worked great, just as advertised. I used it to set a 4"x4"x12' wooden post. Much easier than lugging around cement. Cured in about 20 minutes, rock -hard. The company website can helps with knowing and mixing the correct amounts of each liquid. Concrete is physically harder to work with, but is is MUCH less complicated than this stuff (no worrying about "mixing the right amounts", having to hurry and pour before it dries, squaring up your post BEFORE you pour and it cures.. ). With concrete, just dump the mix in the hole and add water. With "Quikrete Fast-Setting" concrete, you dont even have to mix it anymore.I would say... If you have a problem physically moving and/or using bags of concrete, or if access to water for your project is an issue then this is a good alternative. Cement is just so much easier and a whole LOT cheaper. I set 3 other posts with cement, for less than half of what it took to set one with Secure Set.It did perform well though. I would have used it for my entire project, but I just didnt buy enough and I didnt want to wait to reorder more.PROS:-Light, easy to move around (just jugs and cups to mix the foam with)-Sets EXTREMELY fast.. minutes instead of hours-Dries/sets rock-hard-No water needed-You can add additional mix to the hole whenever you want without affecting the previously poured mixture. You cant do that with cement-Kind of smells like pancake batter... haha-Much cleaner to store (in two jugs rather than big dusty bags of cement). Can be stored indoors with no mess-I am told it resists water-rot better than cement (wont absorb water like concrete)CONS-Expensive, easily 5x more than concrete-Post must be set BEFORE the mixture is poured.. can not set or square your post AFTER (unlike cement)-Foam can expand aggressively, so your post must be held in place firmly to avoid having it moved by the expanding foam-Need to be very careful with mixing the correct amounts-Need extra items (drill and or a stick to mix, containers to mix in, cups to pour both chemicals)-Can get messy fast-Getting the right amount to fill the post-hole can sometimes take trial/error
