Non-compensated, individual purchase.Purchased to replace branded "150Amp" circuit breakers that were fake and tripping at 50AMP on my solar energy system for each battery string. You can identify them - they all have different names, but the same design.This is a good design, and shows via thermal imaging that there is substantial internal components that handle heat when pushing 300amps of current at 24volts.Pro:-They truly handle 300AMPS-They don't overheat or trip prematurely-They do the job, as advertised.-Electrical isolation between terminals is minimalCon:-Plastic handle design durability concerns-Plastic electric isolation 'wall' between terminals could be thicker and taller to ensure no cross arcing or accidental contact with installing ring terminals on a battery cable.-Prefer a design where + and - terminals are on opposite sides of a breaker, or underneath-No protective caps or shields for + and - screw posts - this is NOT GOOD or SAFEI fabricated a clear plastic shield over the + and - screw post terminals, but this would be a better product to redesign this with a compressing clamp where you insert the wire or ring terminal and tighten it to clamp - this would also create a cover (by insertion) into the breaker and have no exposure to accidental contact.

The first thing that happened was that when I went to mount it, the corner tab broke. That was upsetting, but there were 2 others so at least it was mounted decent enough.Secondly, during charging, it was tripping when there was only 150 amps running through it. I know how much because I have a meter. Now to be fair on that issue, maybe it was tripping so quickly because it was in the engine bay and the added heat made it think there was more amps going through it than there actually was. Regardless though, it was tripping with half the power going through it than what it's rated for, and if being in an engine compartment or anywhere else where there could be more heat than the ambient temperature, well that should 100% be stated in the description so that way somebody knows that sort of thing ahead of time and will choose a different circuit breaker or fuse for the environment it's going to be in.Lastly, when I went to replace this unit with a regular type fuse instead of another circuit breaker, when I went to remove the nut, the whole Bolt just split in 2, as you can see in the picture. To be upfront on that situation, I live in the mountains where there is snow on the ground roughly 6 months of the year and it was probably somewhere around 20° to 25° when I went to remove it. Regardless, it's not like it was 50 below zero and that Bolt shouldn't have broken. When it broke I did not remove the other nut at the same time. I taped things up and I think I removed it a week or two later after I had been driving the vehicle and everything was warmed up.In conclusion, the environment this thing is going to be used in, makes all the difference in the world. Also it's possible that the temperature in the engine bay didn't affect the unit that much and it might have been tripping way early regardless. I say "might" because it's not like I did a thorough testing on every aspect.

Has not been used in anger yet, i.e. never cut off because of an electric problem. However, easy to install and easy to connect the wiring to it. So far so good.

I ordered this circuit breaker for my trolling motor on my fishing boat. I was able to install the breaker with ease. It has a large reset lever that is bright yellow on a black background for easy identification. I would prefer an auto reset. All works well.

Used as overcurrent protection on a 12v inverter. No complaints, and it doubles as a shut off switch for the system. Avoid electrical fire and buy it.

This was my 3rd attempt at buying a breaker for the battery pack on the solar system. The first one didn't work out of the box, and the second one failed after the 2nd test trip. This one has been in service for 7 months now, surviving bi-monthly tests with no problem.

First, while it's rated for 250 A, it consistently tripped out after a few minutes at 100 amps. Second, the voltage drop across the unit at 100 amps was .4 volts, which is unacceptable in a 12 V system. I didn't install/test it til after the return period-- oh, well.Update-- I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars after the vendor reached out to me and sent a full refund-- even though I was past the return date. I think they need to improved their quality control (assuming my unit was defective rather than mis-spec'ed) but recognize and appreciate their superior customer service.

I installed 2 of these units, a 150amp main breaker for a small solar setup in my cabin, and a 50amp model for the charge controller.Everything seemed fine at first, then I added a few more loads to the 150A breaker which pull ~40amps on average and when I came into the cabin one day I could smell something really hot and I checked the terminals and it burnt my hand! Needles to say I replaced it with a victron mega fuse and main battery disconnect before it burnt my cabin down. Do NOT buy these chinese breakers that aren't even close to the rating they claim.The 50amp model gets quite warm as well although max current through that one has been 32amps and the terminals get to 50c or so. Meanwhile the quality victron mega fuse doesn't heat up at all with the same load and terminal size.

Was as described, mounted easily and well built. I have the 250 amp version and now that I'm using it it trips at 130 amps all the time. Not worth it.

I got the chance to test it to 150A today and it was constantly tripping ! Don't lose your time and money !

Breaker developed resistance across the terminals resulting in excessive heat generation and nuisance tripping of the breaker. I measured 0.5V drop across terminals at 100A current.
