Note that I am a Licensed Master Electrician, and have dealt with more of these than most people in the non-electrical industry will ever see. That said, this is a basic 200A Meter Socket, and I see no reason that it would not work as designed. The wiring lugs are adequately sized, and all of the necessary components are isolated from each other, and the kit comes with a bonding screw, should your installation dictate you need one (not all do). The biggest thing to know about this assembly is that it carries no UL certification sticker. Does that mean that it will not work? No. Does it mean that you will fail an electrical inspection if you use it? Yes. Unless the inspector doesn't catch it. If your project does not require an inspection, then install at your own risk, but it should work fine.

I'm really pleased with this 200 Amp Meter Socket, 1 Phase 4 Jaw, 600V 3 Wire Ringless Type, with Horn Bypass Meter box from the LyteSolar store.The box itself is nicely designed and made strong.It has all the little things I wanted and that make it convenient for a variety of installations.There are pop-outs and cover plates to give you plenty of options.Plus it can install for ground or overhead service. Each direction has a sturdy 2 inch threaded conduit connection point.This box fits the standard (US) style round electric meters very nicely. It also seals up well for long term use and security.It can handle from #14 to 2 AWG sized wires, so most applications are covered there.The locking jaws provide an excellent, secure wire fit.Each phase has rubber strips for insulation and safety as well.It's pretty much exactly as advertised and a quality meter box all around.
