All our cable assemblies use over-calculated Electrode Holders, Ground Clamps, and Connectors with an amperage capacity always higher than the assembly amperage rating. This prevents over-heating and increases safety. Information on cable is ident marked so it doesn't fade with time for a better identification even after years of use - Resists abrasion, cut, tear, flame, grease, oil, and water. The is the only welding cable that currently meets SAE J1127. I like everything about the cable set except for the flimsy ground clamp. I replaced it with a $4.73 Lincoln clamp from Amazon that was excellent. The copper braid is much heavier and more tightly woven than the thin braid on the included clamp. The included metal clamp itself was so thin that it flexed every time it was opened. Again, everything else is fine except they tried to save a few cents on a part that gets constant use.

I ordered this set of leads for my Hobart champion 145. Quick shipping and arrived before schedualed. I had a problem with the electrode holder that was shipped and contacted the company. They immediately shipped a new one. Great customer service and so far have around 10 hours of weld time with them. Works great.

melted the ground clamp off after a handful of 1/8 6011 at 105 amps, complete garbageHad to file the grooves to hold 1/8 inch rod otherwise they just push out as soon as you try to strike an ark
