The pins are decent quality, but doubt they are 304 stainless steel. These pins are highly magnetic and generally 304 is an austenitic stainless and should be barely magnetic (which these pins aren't, they pull right to the closest one on desk). Again, they are decent quality, just doubt they are made of the materials claimed.

What can you say about a cotter pin? They work well, just wish there was a greater quantity of larger sizes.
