I use these for anything you might use a cotton swab for only these don't leave fibers behind and the stems are rigid plastic. They get into every gap and crevice very nicely as well. I use them to clean and grease my fishing reels and electronics. I can scrub with them if needed and be delicate as required. Love these!

I purchased these to help clean out my kid's iPad lightning charging port and they fit just right. The foam swab can absorb cleaning agents pretty well and can be squeezed to get rid of excess pretty easily. The foam alone can clean out semi-liquid residue that has built up in the charging port and it does a great job of that even when dry. My process was to start with a dry swab and keep using them until it comes out clean. Then use a damp, but not soaking isopropyl alcohol swab, then back to a dry one. After the alcohol, I use compressed air to dry it out quickly. Lastly, I'll use an electronics contact cleaner to finish off anything that needs to betaken care of. I'll use one final swab to ensure I've gotten it spotless. These work great for my apple lightning charging ports. The 200 pack means I've got plenty to use before I have to reorder, but I would absolutely do so as long as I have these types of ports.

I use them to clean off dust before scanning photographic slides. Lint-free. After they are no longer suitable for that task, I then reuse them for workshop task, like applying glue.Now, that's great value!

I have used the larger orange version of this and was hoping for the same quality. Unfortunately, the foam tip is so loose it slides around too much - which, when trying to use repeatedly in a designated area can become frustrating and you end up using triple the amount you should need. I did not have this same issue with the larger orange version.

Excellent for applying a thin coat of silicone grease on tiny items that require waterproofness.

These are good for cleaning guns, specifically for applying grease or oil to rails, nooks and crannies, but cannot absorb as much as other things like eye shadow applicators. Good for that specific job.
