I own a print shop and these were great for my large format printers.

These are good for brushing off tiny watch parts. They don't leave lint and can be used to rub off dirt. The downside is that they tend to split open at the end revealing the plastic almost immediately if you get them wet.

I really love these much more than a traditional cotton swab. They are much more durable and don't leave behind fibers. They are very similar to the little wands that come in eyeshadow compacts and as such work well for applying make-up, especially, but not limited to, things like powders. This also makes it an excellent tool for working with resin projects. These are fantastic for applying pigment powders like chameleon/mica powder to the insides of silicone molds to add extra special colors and effects to resin creations. These are also great for cleaning. They obviously can work like a q-tip so using them for cleaning ears, and wounds are obvious, they can be used for cleaning off make-up too. Because they don't have fibers like a cotton swab, they don't snag and leave strings in the prongs of jewelry settings or electronic components, making them excellent for cleaning those items as well. They have a very sturdy stick/handle and the foam tip is durable enough to last through multiple uses when working with cleaning and crafts.

These are small cleaning swabs about the same size as a q-tip and very flexible. The tips are very fine and pointed to get in small places. The tips are very well attached. They are lint free. They come packaged in two separate packages. I put them in a ziploc sandwich bag so I could keep them clean and lint free.I specifically needed these to clean a part of my printer/scanner that leaves a line down my page when I print. It is in a tight area that canned air didn't dislodge.I was able to run this along the document feeder and it was able to get into the very tight space where it cleaned whatever was causing the line without scratching or leaving any new lint behind to cause trouble. At just under 13 cents each, I think they are a bit pricey but they really do work in tight spaces that other q-tips and similar cannot reach and do it without leaving lint or anything behind. I am sure I will find many other uses for these very fine pointed swabs.

These are very good for specific applications:My Pros and cons are:Tip is lent free and leaves no fiber residue like normal cotton swabs could. Provides streak free and lent free cleaning.About double the cost of 6-inch wooden stick cotton swabs that have a tip at each end.No storage bag. They were double sealed in 2 separate air-tight bags. I would prefer a zip-lock bag instead of the heat sealed bagsThese are short 3-inch length compared to wooden 6†cleaning swabsVery small for tight spaces, much smaller than standard cotton swabs and smaller than the 6-inch wooden cleaning swabs. They are not round but a flatter paddle shape. Very narrow on edge which is good to get into very narrow places.Swab holds a fair amount of cleaning solution, see comparison of this swab versus detail cotton swabs and normal cotton swabs photoSwab is not as stiff as wooden ones but also doesn’t break. These have about the same stiffness as cardboard handle cotton swabs.Main advantages for me are the small size and the no-lent characteristics. I can use for specialized cleaning issues and a ton of other uses. The cleanroom grade Class 100 -1000 is missing certification.Overall: I like these, they are extremely small cleaning swabs with many specialized uses. Would buy again.

These AAwipes cleaning swabs are a useful product where cleaning of delicate items with fine detail is needed. They are about the same length as a standard cleaning swab (Q-Tip), but have a much finer tip. Additionally, the tip is made of a tighter-knit material than a Q-Tip, so it shouldn't ever release fibers like Q-Tips can. They can be used for cleaning small orifices in various types of objects: such as intake screens for small pumps, as well as edge cleaning items such as the outer edges of optical lenses where they meet their mounting surface, etc.I actually bought them specifically to clean the lens on my laser engraving machine, but there are LOADS of possible applications for an item like this. Speaking of application, what about instead of cleaning, the swabs were used to apply paint to fine areas, or small amounts of oil to tiny bearings and the like? The possibilities are nearly endless!I think that it may even be possible to clean and reuse these swabs in certain cases. The tip material seems to be strongly attached to the shaft. Definitely worth the price!

- Made in ChinaI'm not as much of a fan as other people seem to be. I wanted them for gun and keyboard/electronics cleaning but it's not working out that great. There's nothing but a single layer of the cover, which is basically thin gauze, so there's no absorbency. I can't pick up oil to put on the gun and it doesn't hold but a swipe of dirt/dust on a keyboard. The little plastic prong inside the cover is very thin and bendy so I can't put pressure on anything. The seam where the cover is closed together on each tip is also hard and a little sharp. I don't trust that around electronics.Just not going to work for me.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. The swabs are low quality and the tips often fall off, however it does get the job done.
