This flask is extremely thick glass. There are a few imperfections in it such as a tiny bubble or two. And the glass is thicker on the bottom in one area. But I don't think thid will compromise the integrity of the vessel in normal use. Might be a concern for high heat applications. But for general research, use in a hobby or a student would be a fine choice.I was more than satisfied and feel it was a great value for the money. Came well packaged. Would definitely buy again.

Bought this for a Halloween craft, I poured colored wax into it to make it look like some evil science mixture and it looks fantastic.

The flat bottom flasks are much thicker and more robust than anticipated. This is a much higher quality piece of glassware than the price suggests. Buy some before they change.
