Worked great. Using a full 5-gallon bucket of water: it took 12 min to get to 98.6F from 65.8F, and only15 min to 105F from 65.8FTemp held steady after unplugged.We used it for heating water for outdoor showers.

This definitely heats the water. It can even heat a tube of water but takes a long time. It heats a bucket of water fairly quickly. Great value for your money and easy to clean with the brush provided. Easy to travel with if need be. Please heart my review if you like it.

Product was great at first but only for about monthWhen we took down the pool in Oct the one heater came apart and I could see the corrosion. Hence the heating problem. We have city water and often soften our water so I don't know why this would happenI would like to return both and receive credit even though past return date. Had I known about the problem in time I would have requested sooner. Thanks for your consideration

It works great but the cord is too short to reach the bathtub so we had to heat up 5 gallon buckets to build the bathtub it was a pain in the rump

I was going to use this to heat a barrel of water (I think 50 gallon). One of those blue barrels. I left the unit in there for about 20 minutes.... I checked to see if it was hot yet. It wasn't even a little warm yet. I put my hand on the element and it was juts barely warm. I think it might have taken a couple of days to warm this barrel up. So I guess it depends on what you are using it for... if you were heating a little jug of water, maybe it would do that, but certainly wouldn't get hot and it would take a long time. I'm giving a 2-star.... because it might work??!??
