I put this in my golf cart to run a blender on my trailer, lights and a big JBL speaker box. Works great and the best part is it draws nearly nothing when there is no load. Perfect, silent and does exactly what I want it to do including running a 1500Watt ninja blender, sound system and lights all at the same time, no dimming, no noise.

This is not a 2000 watt with 4000 watt peak inverter. At best, this is a 1500 watt with 2000 watt peak. My test set up consist of regulated power supply set to 56v. So, voltage sag on DC side is eliminated. Overload light starting to blink around 1600 watt. at 1950 watt, the overload is on solid. 1950 watt is only possible with resistive load. For example, hair dryer and space heater. One example this will not power is a Microwave oven. Even if the oven is only rated for 1200 watt. So, if you are looking power a Microwave oven, look else where.

I hooked this inverter to 48v and ~6kwh of Nissan Leaf batteries. While it isn't terribly efficient at high load, or no load, it does do the job of powering my entire garage on solar power. It'll fire up my fridge just fine, but it has issues firing up my big air compressor and lathe.Occasionally, I'll load it near its max load for hours at a time. The fans beg for death, and it'll eventually give up if the ambient temperature is too high, but usually it will make near its max power for 6+kwh

I used this continuously for around 5 months between 500W and 1200W of constant usage. This unit seemed very stable until 1500W of usage. Anything above that immediately trips the unit.Secondly, i had to use an AVR (automatic voltage regulator) as this unit really likes putting out Final straw - one of the units fans failed and this caused it to over heat, causing an endless fault, off, on (undervolt), fault, etc.

The headline says it all. In addition, the single 120 V outlet is loose and difficult to insert a power plug. The indicator light claims 115 V AC. Measured 126 V AC so it is not accurate. I find this to be poorly assembled, unable to meet specifications, and less able to perform than less expensive models. I must rate this inverter a one star. I cannot reccomend buying from this supplier.I asked for a replacement. I recoeved it before I sent the first inverter back. The replacement ould handle the drill (600watt), fan (40 watt) and a small vacuum (250 watts). It worked with just a hint of a flashing Red light on initial load. Most importantly It handled my home forced air 60,000BTU heater. This is the reason I bought it in the firs The fprced air heater has two inductive loads one to flush the burner chamber and the main motor to run air throughout the home. The max load is approx 1200 watts. So I will leave it up to you if you buy one of these inverters. I did recieve one that would function. After reading other reviews of this type inverter failing after a short time I will wait and see. So, at this time I rate the inverter a 3 stars.

The switching of the inverter makes any battery monitoring hard because the voltage jumps around a lot. I plugged In a 1500w space heater and it overloads the unit. But it runs everything else I need it for. I am not sure what the actual rating is. I would guess anything under 1000w would be just fine.

Awesome price. The unit is very compact compared to a 3000W unit I tried earlier. This one will run a 12,000 BTU window AC! I tried starting my Craftsman 33 gallon air compressor but it would not start. To be fair, it draws over 50A on startup and the Ego didn't even try to start it. This KRXNY at least made an attempt. But I bought it to run a 5000 BTU window AC for camping, and for that task, it is more than powerful enough. I used it with my 52V ebike batteries (14 cells in series). Very happy with it!

My greatest shock when I took it out of the box was that it worked...AT ALL! In fact, it works perfectly. Easily powers any normal 110V load you'd normally plug into a wall outlet. Compressor, angle grinder, saw...anything.I was curious to see what's going on inside so pulled the top off. I'm glad I did. The solders on the outlet (the ground terminal is not connected to anything) were not good. It didn't take much effort to fix.I cannot be happier with it!
