used to crimp ends on a clothesline. used a HFreight hydraulic crimper. Worked great, no concerns with rusting its aluminum!

The crumpets are easy to use, and hold super tight when crimped with diagonal cutters or pliers. Strong hold but soft to crimp.

I had hoped to use these on leather cord hanging jingle bells. They fit the cord perfectly, but crimping made them unattractive
