Works great, and obviously this isn't an NIST traceable lab instrument or anything, but for the price, I'm impressed. It's basically the same thing anyway. I used the calibration salts, and it was already spot on out of the box, but the only way to know that is to do the calibration. Additional calibration salts packets are available on Amazon. For those complaining that it drifts, or that it changes measurement when you move it, that's NORMAL. pH is finicky, and actually very hard to nail down and measure, so if the pH looks like it's drifting, that's because it is. Moving your solution to a new container will swing the pH as well. In a lab setting, you would calibrate every day and preferably right before measuring, maybe even after too just to be sure, and take the sample to the meter as soon as possible with minimal manipulation. The nice thing about this is I can put it directly in my tank and get a very accurate reading. For a fish tank, it's pretty good.

Easy meter to use. My only complaint is that it takes a few minutes to get the final read, but it seems to be working fine. We tested the calibration against our well maintenance company's meter, and there were no descrepancies at that time. I'm very pleased with it, and the price was very reasonable.

I bought this item on amazon Jan 17th and received it a few days later. Following the calibration instructions, the ph meter would not calibrate. I exchanged it with Amazon for a new one. Received it a few days later and this one would not calibrate either. I called Vivosun and waited 4 hours for them to call me back. The caller hung up before my wife could get me on the phone. I called them back and waited about 10 minutes to speak to another person, who stated that the meter comes fully calibrated from the manufacturer and if I was having trouble with it, I needed to buy another solution to calibrate the meter. I asked him if they could replace it and he took my email information and said it would take about 24 hours for me to get the email and someone would help me at that point. I asked to speak to his supervisor, I was placed on hold for about 5 minutes, he came back on the line and told me that his supervisor was unavailable and I would have to wait for the email. I have spent 100s of dollars with this company and this is the best they can do? I highly recommend others picked a different ph meter do to the faulty state of this device and the companies customer service just sucks.

Works as it should. I use it to monitor the pH when pickling animal hides and so far my hides turned out well and pH appears accurate. Easy to use. Recommended.

Just got delivered and suspect our water was acidic. Faucet water is 6.7 from averaging readings as it changes every second and doesn't just stop on a #. Filtered fridge water is 6.3, again guessing. I wish it just finalized a number. Swirling it causes numbers to change but just resting it in the cup does the same. I like the digital readout. And directions for calibrating when needed altho lengthy I hope makes sense when the time comes. Giving it 3 stars due to the inconsistency of readout and guessing where it actually is.

Product was simple to use and seems accurate. Just remember what range of PH you need to test. They make HIGH PH testers as well as regular PH testers.

It seem that the reading is very off .It goes . It goes + to- 100 ppe every time, with the same sample , same gage.

I loved this product after its first use. I treid it multiple times by adding impurities into tap water and its TDS readings changed. Thanks to the manufacturer that today I was able to check the quality of my tap water. Every household must have one such TDS meter just to check on and off that they are not consuming contaminated water.
