Save your money. this item is a true item of the adage "You get what you pay for"! The tines didn't line up with the lines that where suppose to guide the tines. Several where floppy and when I did try to slice the egg, the tines did NOT go all the way through the egg. It was a mess. I didn't bother sending it back to Amazon because the traveling to the pick up point and my time are worth more than this thing. I just threw it away!!!

This falls apart when you use it and has loose parts to get lost.

The egg slicer is just perfect in slicing the eggs. The avocado slicer works good for the egg slicer too. Makes me want to slice an avocado.
