Coming from a few very poorly performing carpuride W901 Plus (tried twice) this thing is a true machine. Does EVERYTHING it says it should and most importantly, reliably. Or so far, it has been reliable. However, for the price, and its limited capabilities, I am not for sure if it is worth the extra dollars.I use Android Auto, and though it pains me to say this, Apple Car Play is so much cleaner then Android Auto (AA). When I tested it in my house with my phone, it worked great. Recognized all of my commands, did my text's etc. However, when I installed it in my truck, I had to repeat myself a few times, as well as having to redo messages a couple of times to get them to go thru.The interface is smooooooooth and does exactly what it states it will do! Every time I turn it on. Its kind of like having that Economy car...that though there is nothing really special about it, you know it will start and never let you down, every time you use it. That is a big deal.The pairing is TOP NOTCH. Never has it skipped a connection, and started every time. Again, absolute perfection.The screen is very nice....just about as nice as my Samsung S23 Ultra. Beautiful would describe it. To bad AA kind of 'washes' it out. The colors are very nice and crisp.The auto dimmer works fantastic.The cigarette plug is top notch. I love the fact that it has a on and off button on it, so I do not have to reach up to the unit to do it. I have a truck, so this is a reach. Also, the extra usb port is nice as well.The mount seems strong and stable. Time will tell if it holds or not.What I don't like. No screen mirroring. Yes, yes, I know, call it what you want, but I would LOVE to be able to screen mirror what I am watching on my phone to it. I spend a lot of time in school parking lots waiting on my daughters and it would be nice to be able to mirror my phone to it.Also, I feel that the screen is a bit small. No, it is small. IF I had to touch some of the icons in AA, they are tiny....and considering I have to reach up to it and try to touch a 1/4" sized icon...yeah, its small. But it is also non-obtrusive as well.Unlike many of these 'alphabet' soup Chinese portable units, this one DOES EXACTLY what it says it will do, and it does it exceptionally well. Might be a bit boring, but that isn't always a bad thing.Do I recommend it? Yes, but I really wish the screen was a bit bigger.

It’s worth the money. CarPlay makes my old Corolla looks modern lol. The 60fps screen is really smooth and great for navigation. Bluetooth connects quickly and stays stable. Installation was easy. I already have a rear camera, so I just needed to power it up and mount it. Definitely recommend it!

Ever since I tried a few slightly newer cars. I fell in love with CarPlay. It’s quite simple really but solves big problems. It’s basically a remote display for your phone so you don’t have to have it in front of you when you are driving. Which feels a bit dangerous.I personally drive a slightly older car. A basic model Volvo V40 from 2015. It has no CarPlay nor any way to retrofit it with original parts. This is why I came across this product.After watching some videos on the internet, I decided to pull the trigger and purchase it. There are a few reasons why I chose this product over the competitors.1. It has the best display I have ever seen on a CarPlay display. I am not willing to sacrifice display quality for lower price.2. I can use it together with my existing Bluetooth audio in my car. My car is old but not old enough to not have Bluetooth. With Bluetooth connectivity I can still use the buttons on the steering wheel to skip song and pick up phone call – Just like this car is designed to. This is not possible through aux and FM as far as I know.3. It has wireless CarPlay, and it can run @ 60 FPS!!!Upon arrival, this device came with all the necessary parts. Screen mount, aux to Bluetooth adapter which I did not use, a reverse camera which I didn’t use either.I chose to install the device only because I don’t like extra parts on my car. I was worried about the mounting, so I prepared a few extra mounting methods, but I didn’t use any of them. The mount that came with the display is more than enough and it hides very well behind the screen.The installation took me 10 minutes or so, mostly just trying different locations and adjusting the angle. It’s plug and play so I didn’t have to do anything. I was a little bit worried about the magnetic mounting but it’s really solid. I had to yank it off when I needed to take it off. It’s also a good feature. If I ever go to a sketchy neighborhood, I can remove it and hide it. The only setup I had to do was connect the Bluetooth and that’s about it.Overall, I would highly recommend this to some who’s looking for a high resolution, silk smooth, quality CarPlay display. The only thing I regret is I didn’t buy it earlier before my road trip lol.

I bought it for my 10 years old Accord, because the old car play always freezes with the iPhone. So far I haven't fully set it up yet, but it's already stunned me. The screen completely outplayed the original one from the Accord, and I think the colour could be better than the ones on Lexus. It's easy to install, and the system is really smooth.

I have always wanted to have a Carplay screen in my car. This one is a great fit! The screen has a very high brightness and adjusts to the light very well. The booting takes only a few seconds and is faster than the multimedia from the car. The touch screen is very smooth and there is no lagging at all. I don't need the rear camera so cannot comment on that. But overall it is really over my expectation. Strongly recommended if you are also looking for an external carplay screen.

Amazon sent me a well used item which was in rough shape and missing parts. Carpodgo contacted me about this and was very disappointed in Amazon for this. They fixed the situation.The Carpodgo unit itself is really nice, it boots up extremely fast and has good clarity and works even with polarized sunglasses. It is a must if you want CarPlay in a vehicle that doesn’t have it. The only thing I noticed is the little Bluetooth mic to aux included does t connect to my phone every time. But that is not any fault of the Carpodgo itself.
