I'm a RF field engineer with a $30K Anritsu spectrum analyzer. I love this little thing! I recently took it on a trip as my only tool doing site surveys and checking for potential noise sources. So handy to have a sanity check in my shirt pocket when working in the field in whatever capacity. It's also handy as an RF source for verifying my setup and can even be used as a broadband tuner for listening to near any analog signal. I'm also a ham radio operator and experimenter and I've never seen a more useful tool for the price. For it's utility, I'd expect this to cost 2 to 5 times what it does and I'd not only pay it happily, but recommend it to others as well.

I use this to check the signal output of my HTs.I can see which ones produce a clean signal vs the ones that put out signal where they should not. The videos available online make this easy to use in a variety of ways.

I am truly amazed by the capabilities of this inexpensive little instrument. Although it won't replace a lab grade instrument, for a lot of uses, it is more than adequate. In the picture above, you can see a sweep of the UHF TV spectrum (470-608 MHz) at one spot in our area. I can easily pick out ten signals (Channels 14, 15, 20, 23, 24, 27, 30, 33, 35, 36) using the included whip antenna. My expensive Rohde and Schwarz analyzer only sees seven of these signals from this location. There are many really useful features in this little analyzer like band power markers, presets, zero span, AM and FM demodulators, etc. I will be playing with this instrument a lot to see what it is really capable of. And at this price, I can put one at every site I work at!
