I don’t use my angle grinder much so I reckon I’m glad this sharpener helps the tool find another use in the shop. The angle it grinds is not the same angle the bits are manufactured with but grinding the entire cutting edge to the new angle still results in a very sharp bit.Because of the new angle, I found it better to start with a higher grit disk, then switch to a finer grit to refine the edge. The included quick change nut makes switching so much faster and easier, too. So much better than dealing with those lousy wrenches that come with angle grinders. IMO, this is the best part of this kit.The housing that makes up the body of this sharpener is pretty flimsy so you can’t put a lot pressure it on it. It mounts to the grinder’s shroud and I had to fiddle around with both to get it mounted. Once I did get it, I locked my grinder in the bench vise so I could use two hands to keep the bit steady while grinding.As mentioned, this device is a little flimsy but so far, I’d say it’s worth the current price of $15.
