Absolute garbage. Biggest piece of excrement I’ve ever spent money on. Don’t waste your time, or $$. Truly… the person who engineered this, the person who approved this, and the marketing for this product should all be fired and blacklisted from their professions. If I could give this negative stars, I would.

I don't know what went wrong with this product, and it's not worth risking injury to myself to attempt to use it again. I chose the correct size sharpening guide for the bit i wanted to sharpen, attached it to my grinder using the included bolts and nuts, tightened it as much as possible and got my drill bit in hand and ready to sharpen, tuned my grinder on...and the plastic thing promptly went flying off across my basement! Luckily, the only damage sustained was to the plastic sharpening guide itself, as it cracked when it hit the concrete basement wall. If it had hit a window, or even worse ME....I don't want to think about that. I am giving 3 stars because there's always the possibility of "operator error" here, especially as there are no instructions given, (although it looks pretty self explanatory) but I do not recommend this product unless you have successfully used something similar before and can be 100% sure of your safety! For reference, I don't know the model or brand of my grinder (the info was on a sticker that I lost), I can only tell you I got it approximately 2 years ago at the well known big box home improvement/hardware store, where the employees wear orange aprons and it was in the lower price range.

For $9 this 2-pack drill bit sharpener adapter is not only expensive but there are some issues. First, there are no instruction and the adapter doesn't seem to be able to attached to the grinder. Second, the small gap means you have to use grinding wheel of 1/4" or less. Finally, the quality of the plastic is just average and the 2 screws could use lock washers to prevent them from coming apart because of the vibration.
