These look identical to the ones that came with my fridge. I can see no reason to suspect they will not perform just as well. I got these to have on hand in 6 months when I will change out the water filter for the icemaker. Also appreciate having the extra cover in case something happens to the old one during the removal/installation process.Good value for a seemingly quality product.

This replaces a mechanically horribly-designed original cover and of course it cannot change the mechanical design at all. So it's good but it's likely going to break also unless I'm extra-EXTRA-careful. The replaced 12-year-old LG fridge was just as bad, and maybe worse because it was square. At least this one provides more leverage given its shape. But it didn't provide a choice of colors, as it looks a little odd being white against a fully stainless steel interior. No biggie, I guess.
