This j1772 to tesla charger adapter is well made, unlike other products that look like they are made of cheap, smelly and unsafe plastic. I accidentally dropped it on the ground once, but it was still able to charge like before. I love this tough durability.And its good operation also proves this: just connect it to a j1772 charger, then plug it into your tesla, it starts working! So smooth and easy without any problems. NOTE: If connect it to your tesla first and then plug in a j1772 charger, it may not work. But this is because of tesla design, so I won't blame it on this product.Wanna a j1772 to telsa adapter? BUY this one. I have nothing to say.

Although my Tesla came with a J1772 adapter, I often left it at home. I bought an extra to keep in my car and was impressed. It outperformed the OEM version. Compact, durable, and reliable, it’s the perfect backup to have on hand.

Tesla's come with a J1772 adapter. Ordered the 2025 Upgrade J1772 to Tesla Charger Adapter [Insulating Cap, Safe Up 100%] 80A 240V for Model 3/Y/S/X Cybertruck, All-Weather Smooth Connect to J1772 Charge Stations, Accessories for Tesla Only because this one is rated higher and the ports come with an insulating cap on the internal pins provide an additional level of safety. I have not had to use this yet, but it does feel much better than the one provided by Tesla.I also recommend adding a "Karen Lock" look it up.

I recently got a Level 1/2 charger and wanted an extra J1772 charge adapter so I could keep one on the home charger and one in the car. I stumbled upon this option, and liked the idea of something that could handle a higher voltage in case I ever upgraded to a true Level 2 charger installed in the garage.This worked just fine during the week I tested this. It charged as fast as the Tesla provided option. The one possible complaint, this option seems to expand just a little during use, meaning it takes a little extra force to pull it out of the Tesla’s charge port.However, it charged just fine at Level 1/6 amp output. Sadly, I didn’t have access to a Level 2/15 amp outlet to try this out on, but will report back if I am able to do so.Good little option. I do worry about that apparent expansion, but it has never been “stuckâ€, just needed a little extra pull. The part is solid, feels nearly identical to the OEM option. This does the trick, and fit my need perfectly.

Built well and has a tight fit. This is my back up to take with me on trips in case I need it. Makes me feel secure to have this with me if I need to charge on a trip. Would definitely recommend having one of these with you when you are on the road. Good quality and I’d definitely recommend.

Basic implementation/copy of the standard adapter with a nice carrying bag. Hard to beat the price vs genuine - will update review if longevity suffers.
