As a professional automotive technician, I have high end alignment machines at my disposal while I'm at work but when I'm at home I like to have something to set toe close when replacing steering components until it can be aligned properly. These toe plates do that well.The plates arrive in a plain cardboard box. Inside you will find these nicely made toe plates that appear to have a nice powdercoated finish. They have cutouts in various spots as well as a "TR" logo that I'm not entirely sure what it stands for? The plates bolt to the lug studs of the vehicle and will mount to a variety of bolt patterns. There are cutouts to hold your tape measure on each end of the bar. These bars will allow a close toe setting but keep in mind that depending on the suspension style of your specific vehicle, toe angles will change with suspension travel. A solid axle would be the only steering system that would stay the same at any suspension travel amount.The toe bars are very well made and worthy of 5 stars for both quality and value.

For years I've used various alignment devices for both my racecars and street-going vehicles. Strings take a bit of effort to set up, and wheel plates (that you place against the tires) are sometimes difficult to use solo because they can move so easily.These toe alignment plates simply bolt to your wheel hub and provide a secure place to attach a tape measure and accurately measure fore and aft of the hub to determine toe in/out. They are steel so they will take some abuse, and are coated (powder coated?) so they should stay looking good for a long time. For vehicles that need frequent adjustment like off-road vehicles, or racecars, these are an excellent addition to your toolbox!Overall, the quality is good and I'm pleased with these.

Good tool for adjusting the toe after front end work , car goes down the road straight enough till I get it in an alignment shop for proper alignment.
