I bought the $300 nighthawk wifi ROUTER and it didn't do me any good. The internet speed was equal in performance to my comcast router. Until I cam across this NetGear AC750 wifi range extender. I noticed the biggest difference when I used the internet on my iphone. my emails downloaded way faster. My emails don't even download this fast even when I'm standing next to my comcast router. I honestly don't know what more this extender does other than extend but it has really amped up my internet speed. I checked the speed on speednet and the results showed that the internet speed was faster on the router wifi compared the extender wifi. But at the end of the day, despite what speednet said, the wifi extender's internet speed was just faster when it came to downloading emails and surfing the web on my phone. I actually purchased two for my home but in reality, I only needed one. The extender was so great, it almost completely covered the whole house. So I only needed one. It was so great, I suggested it to my brother and even he noticed a difference. $30 for wifi extender vs $300 for nighthawk, I'd rather pay the $30 any day

My house is 100 years old, made of stucco and lath. The walls are 10 to 12 inches thick. If I'm on the second floor anywhere near a wall, I simply do not receive wi-Fi signals. Set up was very simple and when I plugged this bad boy in I was relieved to see that I was one bar from full strength; A drastic improvement in signal strength. I used PayPal and it was delivered to me in three days. I am a skeptic so I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop but so far it greatly exceeds my expectations. I'll let you know if something goes wrong รขโฌโ stay tuned.

My kids complained the wi-fi was no good in their room. Purchased this for them. Read some reviews about it sometimes being complicated to set up to the modem. But when it arrived in the mail, my 12 old son had it set up in about 2 minutes. He said it was really simple to set up and now both kids have good wi-fi reception in their rooms. My son said the instructions are not in english so it must have been simple to install.

Product worked great. My router is in a closet and I have issues receiving a strong signal 2 floors up. The extender was easy to setup and provides full signal strength on my third floor. Definitely solved the problem for a relatively inexpensive price.

The gadget works all the time. I've had issues with it here and there, but I have an older house and am in the middle of the country. It's 100% good, I can get internet now in the room I never could before 90% of the time. It came in a timely manner and instructions were basic and easy to set up. A good gadget for the price. I would really really recommend.

This extender is way bigger than the previous model but it also performs much better. It was easy to set up and get going. When you plug it in all you have to do is hit the WPS button on your router and the extender and it will connect to the 2.4ghz network. Hit it again on both of them and it will connect to the 5.4ghz network.

It did everything it said it would. I couldnot watch Netflix, YouTube or Amazon Prime without lag and buffering. This angered me to know end.The gadget is worth the price. The set up was easy. I placed it in the part of my house that my TV was in, instantly had a strong signal and I can now watch Netflix, Amazon, YouTube without interruption. my house is 2 storys and 3000sqft.

The setup wasn't bad, but I am a computer tech. I used the app and it walked me through things step by step. It's not completely easy if you don't understand the basics of wireless networking, but it's easy for what it is.I replaced a previous extender which has worked for the last couple years with this. I expect to get as long a life out of this one too!
