I've got two chihuahuas who'll bark at just about anything, even if it's something as faint as leaves rustling in the wind. You can't make any sort of knocking sound around them and showing them that it's you doing it doesn't seem to help anything so I decided to get one of these and test it out.So far, it actually works great and I like that I can hear when it goes off. My dogs are indoor dogs for the most part so I can't say how effective they are at the longer ranges, but 25ft seems about good enough right now.Definitely be careful with placement! It's very easy to set it off. It can cause harm to their ears, as well as your own. It might be better to only turn it on at night and have it across the room from your dogs.

WHEN TURNED ON IT PLAYS A SOUND THAT YOU CAN HEAR THAT IS VERY ANNOYING! IT DOES KEEP THE DOGS FROM BARKING!

It works! It not only works on my dogs to keep them calm and quiet but also helps my neighbors’ dogs. It has three sound levels which are adjustable easily. It is effective, and it gets my dog’s attention without upsetting. It is portable and seems durable. Setting it up was super easy. I hung it on a wall in my backyard.

It has different settings that can be adjusted, which I find quite convenient. It does make some sharp noises, but since I place it in the yard, I think it's fine and doesn't affect my normal life.
