Knowing the limitations of the Blink Doorbell's 24V connection, especially in homes without existing doorbell wiring, this power cable kit is a game-changer. It cleverly tricks the Blink into thinking it's running on batteries, but these "batteries" never die!The 20ft cable gives me ample reach, and the included adapter is a perfect fit. While the wire staples provided are a bit flimsy and insufficient, it's a minor inconvenience easily fixed with a quick trip to the hardware store. Just handle the wire connected to the battery with care, as it feels a tad delicate. This suppose to run over the wall and I could not find a way to pass it through a hole since the cable is undetachable. Taking out 1 star for that.Overall, considering the price and functionality, this kit is a lifesaver. It's given my Blink Doorbell a permanent power source without the need for complicated wiring. If you're in a similar situation, I highly recommend giving this a try!

This power adapter is a godsend! These Blink cameras eat through expensive batteries like they're going out of style (and it's not even winter yet) so this adapter has saved so much money!Install is easy peasy, other than maybe some routing issues you may find. Plenty of cord for most uses. It comes with mounting hardware for the cord, but I just used zip ties with mounting bases.Saves money, better for the environment, easy install. What's not to love?!
