I recently purchased the 212CC Torque Converter 6.5 HP 3/4" Go Kart Mini Bike Comet Clutch and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The installation was a breeze, and the quality of the materials used is top-notch. The torque converter has significantly improved the acceleration and overall power of my go-kart. I love how smoothly it engages and disengages, providing a seamless driving experience. The Predator Driver Pulley Replacement Set included in the package fits perfectly, and the 10T and 12T chain options give me versatility depending on the terrain I'm riding on. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their go-kart or mini bike.

Used this torque converter or a mini bike with a snowblower's engine. Held up great (I've sold bike since) but had no issues as far as usage and looks great too. Bike was pretty stout and constantly stood up with its high torque and current gearing and even under these circumstances torque converter did it's gob great with no issues or noticeable degradation. Would suggest this converter as a direct replacement, diy project applications, or even a slight upgrade over stock. The cover does need to be trimmed to fit your application but it's very easy to do and finished product looks and functions great.

Exactly what we needed for the mini bike! Good quality, fit, looks, and throttle response. Gave the bike much more power than previously! Great value

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Mine came with more instructions than you know what to do with and bolts in metric and Imperial standard. It all went together very easily and works very well. Check the length of your back plate mounting bolts. Mine were bottoming out in the holes so I shortened them up about 3/16 of an inch. If something doesn't feel right check it.

First ride, chain was properly adjusted, ride down the street, chain pops. I put it back on it pops again, i bring the kart back inside and run it in a stand. The drive shaft from the converter is wobbling. Closer look shows the bearing broke and left part of it in the aluminum housing. Now completely useless. Waste of time and money.

REVIEW:This torque converter kit is good quality and at sixty-five bucks, is hard to beat. My son's Massimo MB200 (Baja Warrior) minibike topped out at 20mph with me on it (185lbs) with the stock clutch and jack shaft and made a bit of racket doing it. With this torque converter, I got up to 35mph, the throttle response was MUCH smoother, and MUCH quieter operation. My son loves his ride now, and it has enough pep, even I enjoy it now. I definitely recommend this upgrade, though it may take some work to install it.INSTALL:In short, this is a universal kit, so don't expect a bolt-on installation. Depending on your tools and skill, this will be a 2-6 hour job. Some reviewers with Coleman bikes claim it's bolt-on, but on the Massimo MB200/Baja Warrior, it requires some tinkering, engine risers, and a Dorman wheel nut (M12-1.25, 13/16 in Hex, 1.684 in length) you have to purchase separately. As those nuts only come in packs, you'll be spending $20-30 on them, which is aggravating. I fabbed up my own engine risers (3/4" rear, 1/2" front) out of hard rubber bushings (greatly reduces engine vibrations) I had laying around, so that was "free." The back plate needed some minor grinding on one tab to fit flush against the engine and the drive pulley needed an extra washer (it came with one spacer and washer) to line it up with the secondary pulley. I had one laying around that fit, but you may need to run to a hardware store. Then there's the Dorman wheel nut install. Here you have to grind down the key slot spine inside the drive pulley shaft adapter to get the nut to seat correctly. This headache is all because Massimo made their driveshaft non-standard with external threads, so this kit needs modified to fit. Lastly, the plastic cover will need trimmed in several places to sit flush - simple, but takes some time and test fitting. All in all, took me probably 6 hours to install. Worth it? Absolutely.

When I received this clutch I was impressed with the look and feel of a quality product. I installed this clutch, my 8 year old grandson ran the go kart for one hour, the shaft bearing locked up and failed, typical Chinese quality. I am going to purchase a quality bearing set and try to use it.I replace the shaft bearings with Timken Bearings works great now.

If you are considering a torque converter upgrade on your Coleman mini bike, this will give it a real kick in the pants. There are some considerations however. If you have the 212cc engine... all systems go. If you have the 196cc engine... contact Houston... there is a problem. The shaft size on the 196cc is 16mm. That's not 5/8", so a 5/8" - 3/4" adapter won't work. (don't believe the U-Tube videos) You can get a 16mm to 1" adapter (16mm To 1" Crank Adapter Sleeve Coleman Ct200u/-Ex Bt200x CAS) from OMB Warehouse, E-Bay. That also means you need to order the torque converter with a 1" driver. The price is a little over $100.00 with shipping and exchange. The route I chose however was to replace the engine with a 212cc from Princess Auto for about $165.00. That gives you another hp over the 196cc and a few more revs too. You have to use the light kit from the 196cc, but that is an easy swap. You also need to swap the muffler and throttle linkage. (note: I saw the 196cc has a throttle stop, so I removed that!) You also have to add a short piece of 420 chain which you can scavenge off of the front chain. I am selling the 196cc c/w clutch and intermediate jackshaft for a $100.00 to get some return and reduce costs, so it is actually the cheaper option. It's a pretty straight forward refit. I weigh about 210 lbs and it really improved the takeoff as well as the top end. The only problem with the extra speed is now you should consider some serious braking... Go Power Sports has a front brake mod, but it's fairly expensive. ($$$ verse serious injuries...?) Take your time and enjoy the process as well as the final product. It's all fun! PS Use the riser plate sold on Amazon too... looks factory and is so much easier than a Mickey Mouse pile of washers or something.

Would definitely buy again. Made a barely working kart work good.Got my son a go-kart for christmas. Had very low run time, all parts were practically new, oil still clean in engine. It had a centrifugal clutch, bought it as seen in last pic.Needed to push start it to get it to move, even with my son in it. As such, after the people I got it from built it, they didn't use it.The clutch was new, not worn out.Switched to this clutch, and my 200+ pound ass drove it out of the shop after install.Took a couple hours to remove old clutch, pull engine, cut the frame, rework engine mounts, extend frame, etc.The multiple mounting holes for the clutch are nice, as you can index in any direction. All hardware included, metric and SAE.About 5 hours start finish, complete, while teaching my 13 year old how to weld at the same time.Would buy again, 100%.Will update review if anything happens but all good so far.

Hay que cortar la tapa de plástico para que pase la cadena , asà como el tapón de aceite del.motor porque topa con la tapa del cvt .
