In the fall, my wife is planning a trip to Scotland, so we'll need a voltage converter to run any curling irons and device chargers when she's abroad. The Tessan Voltage Converter comes with 4 different plug adapters that cover most of the world's plug shapes, and can handle high-wattage devices like clothes irons and kettles. It also has outlets for low wattage devices like chargers and shavers. Beyond the appliance outlets, there are 4 USB charge ports (3x USB-A and 1x USB-C) for phones and tablets.High-wattage converters are heavier but are a necessary safety precaution for the amperage that is needed. If you don't need to worry about something like a clothes iron or a coffee maker, then there are other choices out there. It seems well-built... I just wish they color coded the plastic outlets for high power to make them stand out. I will likely put colored labels on them to make sure they aren't used for the wrong items on my wife's trip.

This came with a European plug so I had to use another universal adapter for the US just to test and make sure all the ports and outlets work ok before taking it for the trip as shown in the attached pictures. The good news is that everything worked as expected, no surprises so far. One thing to note though as indicated on the clear label over the dual power outlets is that this will not work or may have issues with devices that have touch switches like those LED lamps where you touch the base to turn it ON or Off. It's not a deal breaker for me since I won't be bringing any of those touch devices along for the trip, I will mostly be using this for my laptop and other smaller electronic devices and maybe a portable steam iron or hair dryer at most, both should work just fine with this converter. The converter feels solid and more than durable enough for the trip, as with all the adapters, which I won't be bringing all of them along, only the one for the particular continent where I will be traveling to only. This is a good converter for a family or 3-4 people traveling together, it should have enough outlets for everyone.

I got this for a trip to Australia, so that my wife and I could each have one.Pros:Has three USB-A ports and one USB-C portThe USB-A ports provide standard charging speeds when tested with a Samsung Galaxy S 22 Ultra, while the USB-C port provides fast chargingThe dual voltage outlet on the right side allows my normal wall charger to provide super fast charging speedsThe two 2kw outlets work fine with a hair straightener, so I can make sure my beard is nice and straight ;-)It's silent in usage. I mention this because the other product I have like this emits a high pitched hum when plugged inAll of the adapters include grounding pins where applicableCons:It's quite a bit bulkier than my other oneIt doesn't come with a US adapter. The end of the plug is the European style plug, so I had to use a universal adapter to test it here in the States.Bottom line: this is, overall, a good voltage converter/extension cord. It's a bit larger than I would prefer for travel, but if you're not a one bag traveler and have room in your luggage this is a really convenient item to bring along.

This power converter is epic. It has all the plug style adapters that I can possibly need no matter where I am. The USB and USB mini ports are absolutely perfect and super convenient. This is sturdy and doesn’t feel fragile. And it looks professional and feels premium.

I have a number of Tessan products and find they're always a good value, so I chose this unit for my travel kit. The plastic feels a bit on the cheap side but isn't anything I'm overly worried about. I like the assortment of USB ports along with the AC outlets and it's easy enough to attach and detach the adapters. It functioned well in my testing and will be quite useful to have on my next trip overseas although I also plan on using it without adapters attached for local travels. It seems like a pretty solid value to me and comes in considerably cheaper than competing products from brands like Anker and overall I'm satisfied with it.
