Using this on a guitar amplifier, this way my power cable does not stick out and I can put a cover on my guitar amp easily. Also it helps in tight spaces. I have all guitar cables with 90 degree connectors behind the amp for effects loop and foot switches. So along with these I can really put the solid state amp right next to a wall to play at low volumes in confined space. My issue was space for the amplifier and I did not intend to use this on a TV. The device has good length when inserting into the socket, this means it should work well for TVs also. Be aware while ordering, there is a product that is angled 90 degree UPWARDS also. THIS ONE IS is angled 90 degree DOWNWARDS. Great, simple but very useful product.

I put this on the backside of a transformer, so can place it closer to a wall. Works perfectly. Now when I plug things into the front of the transformer, I don't worry about how the cord is being compressed/flexed/bent. In the long run this will save the plug and cord.

I have an electronic device that has an IEC connector, and it must sit next to the wall, doing so with a regular cable adds about 3" to the equation, where doing this minimizes it to much less than.

I use monitor arms for my monitors, but hated viewing all the cable mess, so I bought a monitor shelf to help hide them. Unfortunately, the power cord to one of the monitors was getting in the way. Thanks to this adapter, I was able to angle the power cord back, instead of down, and my problem is solved! I’ve had no issues with power delivery using these adapters, and can strongly recommend. Just be sure to double-check that you’re choosing the correct adapter ends/angle for your needs!

Works as hoped. My bass amp cord now goes up along the back of the amp and not straight out. Less likely to be broken off and cord can stay attached...Less likely to become lost.
