I used these motors to rebuild my door lock actuators on my 2007 Hyundai Sonata. There was a nice YouTube video someone posted giving detailed instructions on how to rebuild the actuators that saved me hundreds of dollars doing this myself.

It's a great motor but please verify whether it spins in the right direction based on your car's needs. For a Prius - this is not the case for this motor - you'd need to change the polarity. What I'd suggest is clean out your existing motor before you attempt to do such a complex thing.
