Purchased this to save my drill from buring out. I am using it to mix resin bonded sand for metal casting. It does the job nicely so far and the larger mixing head makes the mixing time less as well.

This is perfect for mixing mortar for tiling. I was considering a heavy-duty drill but came across this and it is the ideal solution and much more cost effective since I don't have other uses for a heavy-duty drill.Very stable to hold, great speed control, and the paddle is great because it allows me to spin off the excess much better than with other mixers.

This is an awesome value for the price. It comes with everything you need for mixing mud/paint. It is fairly heavy duty and the cord is a great length so that you have enough space to get the job done but you aren't tripping over excess cord. The variable speeds are a great mix to get to the correct/right power/speed for the product you are mixing (no need to shoot paint everywhere). It handles the thicker materials (like concrete) very well and doesn't seem to get hot at the motor. Overall, a great value and tool.
