My fridges freezer side wasn't getting cold... My evap fan stopped working. No snow wall so I knew the defrost heater was working. Compressor was working.... Just no fan was blowing... The part number wasn’t the same but everything seemed exact like the old part in my fridge. I bought it …installed it and bingo ! The fridge works perfectly. Worked well at first, even though it was quite noisy. After a few months it started working intermittently. It was difficult to determine the fan was the problem and caused a lot of grief due to refrigerator temps not reaching the set temperature. Eventually discovered the motor not running. Buying a better motor to solve the problem.
