I ordered to keep it as spare now I need it and tried to install but it turn out that white connector from pilot and red connector from gas valve both are female connector so can't install it as such.Cut off the connector and joined it.Now it's working as well.

My pilot light was going out and eventually wouldn't come on. I first thought it was a bad thermocouple, but when I took the door off and got the burner assembly out, the pilot light gas line snapped in half. It was sandwiched between the foam which was wet. I found this replacement and even though it wasn't the exact part number, it looked the same, so I took a chance. It worked. It was also delivered in one day, so my time without hot water was minimal. This fit a MI-5036FBN.

Product is good but after the one month return policy expired I just noticed that the ignition wire is melting and it keep turning the flame off. I am not sure if I just get the bad product or not.
