6 inches tall, 7 inches in diameter at the top. Very thin plastic throughout, and so shiny you can see your reflection. Bottom is ridged for strength and has 8 - 3/8 inch drain holes.Volume of each pot is one half gallon, as measured with a gallon container of water and plastic bags in the pots. Calling them gallon pots when they're literally half gallon is too egregious for more than 3 stars.Despite the very thin plastic sidewalls, the ridging around the top and on the bottom make them sturdier than you'd expect. Combined with only 1/2 gallon of potting material, they're easy to move around when needed. The wide base diameter makes them less 'tippy' too.For a light duty half gallon pot that's easy to relocate, the current price makes them an attractive deal.

I ordered these in the one gallon size. For $17, you get 20 1-gallon sized pots. Individually the cost about $.85 each. I grow a lot of plants from seed or clone them from cuttings. I prefer larger pots so that the plants have more room to grow as they mature & don't need to be transplanted before they're planted outside.This year, I grew a lot of perennials from seed & I found these to be perfect for that use. My plants got large & developed healthy root systems before being moved outside to the gardens. I also used these when cloning a houseplant, growing four plants from cuttings of my own plants. They're getting big, healthy & full. They'll be given away as gifts at Christmas time. The pots have been perfect for growing plants from seed & growing them by cloning. They allow plenty of room for plant growth & given some fertilizer as they grow, they produce beautiful, full plants that haven't been exposed to the trauma of repeated transplants.They are made from sturdy, flexible plastic that stands up well to long-term & repeated use. I did find the bottoms to be a bit thinner than I'd like, but I tested their strength by trying to break one of the plastic pieces between the drainage holes & couldn't do it. They aren't the thin, brittle plastic that you often find with store bought plants & from garden centers.I would definitely recommend these to other novice gardeners. For those who grow, professionally, I'm sure you can purchase something similar in a high volume at a cheaper price. For those of us who plant as a hobby, I believe these are about perfect.
