I bought this to help restore the finish on my 40 year old fiberglass boat. I was able to attach these to my random orbital 3" polisher along with the pad and work away the grazing/checking that has manifested over the years of being in the UV light. Some disks lasted longer than expected, some did not. I used a wet sanding method with the higher grit discs and they lasted much longer and did the job beautifully.

Great product. I posted a before and after picture .The wet sanding discs held together great. I went through one disc per grit on each headlight. My recommendation would be to start with a 1000 grit and work your way up to 5000. The 800 grit left some marks that were hard to get out. I used an electric drill and went very slowly. If you go too fast it will leave scratches that are hard to get out. I would also recommend frequent washing of the headlight and sandpaper. And keep the sandpaper moving. I did about 1/3 of the headlight and then rinsed the headlight off and the sandpaper and just kept doing that. I spent less time sanding with 1000 grit and spent more time when I got up to 2000, 3000 and 5000. I finished it off with Car polish.

Like the big selection in ease of use with a decent price used to restore my headlights they work great. They are a permanent solution when restoring headlights.

They work good but seem to clog fast and I need a wire brush to clean or they float and polish/burn to the surface.
