Those aluminum crimping sleeves fit perfectly for 1/8" steel wires/cables. The wall of the sleeve is thick such that it makes a very strong binding with the wires after a good crimping. Very good product.

I will be using the M3 crimp sleeves with 1/8" wire rope to support a couple of sun sails and solar string lights. With it being winter in southeaster Michigan, I am not able to start the project until spring but I dry fitted one of the sleeves to my 1/8" stainless 7/7 wire rope and they sleeves fit perfectly. I will also be using some M3 stainless double bolt cable clamps for additonal support of the terminations.These crimps are competitively priced and get my seal of approval along with a 5 star rating.

Purpose for Product: Securing 1/8" cable connections.Product Inspections: Plastic bag containing 24 (actually got 25) aluminum cable crimps M3 sizing. Seller has contradicting information in the advertising as the ferrules are described to be manufactured of 304 Stainless steel and then in other areas described as aluminum. I am thinking aluminum.Product Performance: Installed a crimp on 1/8" cable, see photo, and crimped securely. The connection seemed very secure.Summary: Crimp (ferrule) performed as well as any I have used but the price point could be better to provide a better value.

When the I use the M5 crimp sleeves on 5/16 wire rope to make some hood checks cables for my H2 hood they worked great. The sleeve opening allowed the cable to be inserted with little remaining to be filled. Using my crimping took I was able to secure the cable. A good product at a very reasonable price.

These work great with the 5/16" and 3/8" inch ropes I use for antenna work. I know they are 6mm ferrules, but twill work with 5/15 cable too.

I didn't pay close enough attention before ordering. I assumed that the M4 crimp would have a pair of 4mm openings, but if I'd looked, the specs clearly indicate that the M4 crimp openings are 5.4mm diameter. So it's not the vendor's fault that the crimps are a bit large for the 1/8" cable that I intend to use, but the aluminum is malleable enough that it clamps down securely on 1/8" cable. I'll order the M3 crimps next time.
