The Guardian Fall Protection "Galvanized Steel 5/16" Wire Cable Anchorage Slings" are used by looping around a beam or anchorage and connecting ends using a carabineer. This product acts as a convenient anchor point that is both durable and easy to use. The cable resists wear around sharp edges, but to protect anchorage surfaces a coated cable is available. End point options provide solutions for all your hardware and connection needs. This version of the product is 6 feet in length with 2.5-Inch and 3-Inch O-ring ends.

Note as of 01/17/2015 the photo is the WRONG item, there are NO snaphook ends and different crimps. The title and description is correct. It is just a simple choker cable with thimble ends, see the attached photo of the actual item. It is a well constructed simple safety item and works well where abrasion and sharp edges are a concern.The specs for the choker are not listed, so here are the ratings from the certification tag:- Maximum 1 connection per choker cable- Capacity range: 130-310 lbs., or up 420 lbs. if used with equipment explicitly certified for such use- Minimum breaking strength: 5,000 lbs.
