The RuggedMade CV3000-1 hydraulic control valve is a perfect replacement for OEM valves on many popular hydraulic log splitters from Speeco, Brave, Dirty Hand Tools, Huskee, County Line, Yardmax, MTD, Northern Tool, and others. This single spool valve is also applicable to other hydraulically powered agricultural and construction equipment.
Adjustable Pressure Release Detent and Relief Valve
The CV3000-1 includes a pressure release detent that is adjustable to 1,400 PSI that automatically kicks back to neutral when your cylinder completes its stroke. The built-in adjustable ball spring relief valve is preset at the factory to 2,250 PSI.

Works great so far and the price was great. All the threading was correct. Only thing is that the return and send inputs are opposite the original valve, the send line is now too short and it would be too hard if a bend. It’s an easy fix though. All you need is a 90 street fitting, 3/4 male into the valve to 3/4 female. I picked one up from tractor supply for $15. Overall it’s a good replacement.

This is the 2nd valve I have replaced on my yard man 31 ton 5.5 hp log splitter. The first one was a direct replacement and worked flawlessly. This rugged made isn’t exactly a perfect fit and caused many mechanical adjustments. After installation, I found out that the detents are backwards from most log splitters, ie the auto detent is on forward and the manual is on return. Backwards!
